Picture of the Day.

The picture of the day is of a great holiday party that someone has staged for a photo. This holiday party picture seems more of a Christmas scene than say a New Years? Well anyways, this is the photo of the day because of so many reasons it is not even funny. First are the Tulip chairs with a green seat cushion. Absolutely amazing. This is the first thing I see when I am looking at this picture.
Well anyways, this is the photo of the day because of so many reasons it is not even funny. First are the Tulip chairs with a green seat cushion. Absolutely amazing. This is the first thing I see when I am looking at this picture.  They are beautifully accented with a complimentary colour such-as red. The picture as a whole is shown as white, but then you have these pops of color here and there. Bold colors nevertheless. I Google searched "Modern Christmas" to see what would show up and here it is. The second part that I love about this picture are the accessories. Accessories, although subtle, can make or break a room. This room for instance is staged as a dessert party. On the table we have a nice bunt cake(?) and a wrapped up gift. I especially love the curling ribbon coming off the table. It looks very casual as if someone really was having a party there. On the buffet now is a cupcake tower and other types of desserts. But the main focus is that black traditional/modern candelabra. The black of the candelabra picks up from the black of the place mats. Another focal point is that flower chandelier. Personally I don't like it as much as say a cool sputnik pendant. Over all this is a great picture. Totally staged as you can see. But it gives a great representation of a 20- something year-old dessert party in the city.
